The three pictures below identify the three different pieces of work towards my lyrical triptych. The lyrical triptych is the second project that was given in the Digital Media class. The way each was put together was very interesting to my self, even thought it doesn't seem that way at all. 

  The point was to find lyrics from your favorite song or poem or any one you'd like to choose from, and capture three different pieces and put them into one photo that would make then look as one. Each of my individual triptych's have their own meanings that connects with the lyrics that I've chosen, but they all are on the same path to work together which brought my triptych together and made me proud of the great work that I have accomplished, since it was my first time. 

    My lyrical triptych has a song set mood of a guy describing how he needs this specific girl in is life and he'll do anything for her. The pictures are of a girl thinking about her boyfriend and there is a lighted skeleton of a guy as if they were there together, with  faded heart in between them both. The second was of a guy diving off of a cliff into the ocean describing how he feels for her with a sun set and a nice sky. The third was  a guy standing on a stack of money saying how he could have it all but he'd have nothing I he didn't have her, and in the background is a girl looking over the city and then heart full of medicine showing only she could help his worried mind. 

   Since I feel I know more about the techniques then as I first entered this class I feel as though I could go back and make some changes in the triptych. I feel it was a great experience and I'm glad I had the chance to do so and I like working with the Adobe Photoshop, its great!

MAGAZINE COVER DESIGN REFLECTION

 

The digital media period two class was assigned to design our own magazine cover. The steps to create this project was to 1. Design on your communication objective. 2. Decide on your target audience. 3. The visual. 4. Choose your own headline. 5. Develop your layout and just a helpful tip on some mistakes to avoid.... This was kind of complicated to me at first, because I didn't know anything about computers and it was all new. Although as the days went by the steps were sinking into my brain and I was able to understand.
My magazine is the size of one piece of copy paper. It says COSMO GIRL on the top as my magazine cover title with my picture located on the side of the page and other topics and saying of my own posted for teens and anyone else who would read it. All the colors symbol each other within everything in the picture. Like in my shirt it has a red flower and I used red headlining to bring out the red in the flower. My background is blue so it has a very outstanding view of everything else around it.
There wasn't a specific topic my magazine was based upon I just tried my best and used different techniques to try and capture my audiences attention. The different topics I chose were unique and i though they might of captured the readers attention.
Looking a the rubric I think I did ok. I was away from school on vacation for a week so it really took time away from this project which really didn't help me out at all. Although I was late one the assignment I was willing to try to get it done and I think I did god for it to me my first time working with a project like this. A better thing that I could have done was give a little more detail and maybe have used a prop and added more to my magazine cover, but i am satisfied with myself that I atleast made something and completed something out of the ordinary new to me.

THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENT THINGS I LOVE TO DO. FROM JOINING JROTC, TO CHEERLEADING, MANY WILL TELL YOU MY HEART IS FOR DANCING. IM IN A DANCE GROUP CALLED CASED CLOSED AND IT MAKES ME FEEL RIGHT AT HOME WHEN EVER I FEEL TOO FAR AWAY. WELL THATS PRETTY MUCH ME, IM SMART, TALENTED, UNIQUE, AND VERY CREATIVE!
